Music
I've spent a lifetime as an amateur musician, 40 years playing guitar, piano, and later ukulele. I used to haul my guitar to high school back when I was 15 years old. I always had an electric guitar in the Navy. My college roommate had a Marshall half-stack. Music is a second life for me. I play every single day, usually for about an hour.
I like to arrange music for the guitar and uke. Any piece I like, that I think I can play, I'll try to arrange. Movie soundtracks, video game music, classical pieces, pop music, it's all good to me. I've played hundreds of pieces over the years, performed concerts, played in competitions, taken lessons and masterclasses, and bought custom instruments from around the world.
This page is a little sample of stuff I wrote down and/or recorded. It includes my YT videos, some audio recordings that never got a video, and some notation-only arrangements that I haven't yet got around to recording. Most pieces have a downloadable score (PDF), the LilyPond source, and a MIDI render. Click anything to open it. I've starred the ones that aren't terrible. The rest are ambitious but didn't quite land.

Chopin / Villa-Lobos
My best arrangement. I had to put it on hold after overpracticing it in summer 2012. I developed trigger, requiring surgery and a four-year recovery. But wow is it a cool piece.

Only No. 1 has been recorded; the other 23 are arranged and score-ready but not yet recorded. At one point I could play them all except No 23.
